SolidWorks 2010: Exporting Parts, Assemblies or Drawings as TIF, JPG or PSD in a Custom Resolution.

In SolidWorks 2010 you can export a part, assembly or drawing file as a .TIF, .JPG or .PSD and specifiy the DPI of the new image file.

Viewing Dimension Names in SolidWorks 2010

If you write equations, create design tables, use DriveWorksXpress or have any other reason to view your dimensions while in an assembly or part file then you’ll need to know where to find the setting after upgrading to SolidWorks 2010.

Custom weldment profiles

The Weldment functionality of SolidWorks can be expanded by developing custom profiles. This will allow users to create cut lists for extruded products, lumber or other designs which require a cut list for manufacturing.
