Perhaps you spend some time creating a complex exploded view and now you have to make other similar exploded views for the rest of your configurations.  Here’s how you can save some time and copy your exploded views between configurations.

The process is simple, in the configuration manager just double-click on the configuration you want to move the exploded view from so that it is active .  Click and drag the exploded view entry to the target configuration.

 If you do not have the configuration from which you are copying from active you will get the below feedback.

Now you can go back and edit the individual exploded views to add any configuration specific steps in your exploded views.
